Two Factor Authentication (2FA)

2-factor authentication is now available for the Domains Website using google Authenticator.

How to set up 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) for your Domains management portal.
Steps:
1. Log in to the website at https://www.enlightendomains.co.nz
2. In Client Area tab, select My Account from the side navigation area
3. Select the Multifactor Authentication tab
4. Select the ‘Google Authenticator’ link and follow instructions to set up Google authentication on your device
5. Select the option to Enable Google Authenticator
6. Scan the QR code with the Googe Authenticator app, or enter the unique set up code displayed.

From now on, you will require your device with Google Authenticator installed, as well as your username and password to log in.

How to log in using 2FA
Steps:
1. Browse to thew website at: https://www.enlightendomains.co.nz
2. Log in using your regular user name and password (usually an email address)
3. Open the "Google Authenticator" app on your device, and enter the verification code.
You are now logged in.


To remove 2FA
Steps:
1. Log in to the website at https://www.enlightendomains.co.nz using 2FA
2. In Client Area tab, select My Account from the side navigation area
3. Select Multifactor Authentication tab
4. Click "Remove google authenticator"


Issues using 2FA

Should you have problems using 2FA, you can create a query to resolve the issue.  Send an email from your registered (domains) account to support@enlightenhosting.com.  If changes need to be made to the 2FA, you will be required to Identify and legitimize.
